The Grueling and Descisive Year of 1850 was hard on a lot of people, the fightings of the races seemed stronger than ever, but with the death of the Countess Mary Windham, it seems to make it more so dense. The maiden was found, body mangled, and staked through the heart on the border of Lycan territory. The eyes of Stephan upon seeing his mother perished never would forget such a thing, not even the faces of the Lycans who killed her.
